This product was very easy to install and looks great in our bathroom!
Mine fell down & I need install instructions. On how to rotate to tighten and determine initial length.?
It only took a minute to review the instructions and have this rod installed. It is strong and seems to be able to last a long time. Great product.
Very easy installation with no tools or hardware required. Very nice quality product, which you do not typically find with simple tension bars. Highly Recommend.
Excellent product. A breeze to install. A few twists and it "snaps" into place. The design is modern with a brushed nickel finish. I also like that the shower rings (not provided) glide very easily over the rod. It's the nicest rod I've ever had. ;-)
Looks great and easy to install...but. We had two installed this past summer in the bathrooms we re-modeled. One failed a few months ago but Moen sent replacement at no cost to me. The other one just failed. Both eventually fell down and will not tighten. I am being sent a new one (no cost) but hope they both last or I'll get another type. Customer service has been good.
I have had 2 of these rods mounted in a tile tub/ shower (Moen was kind enough to send a replacement when the first one kept falling down). Both have the same problem of losing their tension and falling down. My wife loves the look of the rod; however, we will probably be replacing the Moen with something that will stay up. The falling rod may damage either the tub or the finish around the tub.
The first thing I noticed when I took down the old shower rod was how much lighter and flimsy the old rod was compared to the Moen. The new rod was very easy to install, just pull to approximate length for placement and twist in the middle to tighten. New rod has nice finish and curtain rings slide over with ease. Replacing an old dull shower rod is an easily affordable way to brighten up a bathroom in only a few minutes.
I have to admit that I have never been a huge fan of tension rods. The new moen tension shower rod, however, has changed my opinion for life. The shower rod arrived with a beautiful brushed finish that matches my other bathroom fixtures perfectly, so I had a great feeling about it from the start. The rod was beyond easy in terms of installation, and it feels much more "sturdy" compared to other shower rods I have worked with in the past. A sturdy rod with good tension means that your bathroom walls will stay in great shape, and I have no doubts that this shower rod will be a great addition to our home for years to come. I highly recommend this shower rod!
